PHD wins Cannes “Lions Live” public vote for the second consecutive year

PHD’s seminar, ‘Sentience: The Coming AI Revolution”, has been announced as the winner of the Lions Live public vote, which sees one seminar a day streamed live on the Cannes Lions YouTube channel; youtube.com/user/canneslions.

PHD’s seminar received the most votes, beating talks by Facebook, SMG + TED and CP&B.

PHD Worldwide’s CEO, Mike Cooper will open the seminar and introduce Sir Tim Berners-Lee, computer scientist credited as being the inventor of the World Wide Web, who will be giving his views on AI and its impact on technology and society exclusively and for the first time at Cannes Lions.

With many scientists and visionaries predicting that the AI (Artificial Intelligence) revolution will be the most transformative event humanity has every lived through, the seminar will get delegates thinking about the far reach and incredible potential of AI, the road leading up to it, the risks and opportunities, the implications for marketing and how brands are likely to operate in this new world.

Sentience will be held at 11AM CEST on Tuesday 23rd June 2015 in the Grand Audi in the Palais des Festivals, Cannes.  The video will be available to view on YouTube for one week after the live event.
